For me, freelancing is an opportunity to share my most favourite skills with businesses that I believe in, have the ultimate flexibility so I can enjoy time with my son and be around more often for my family life and my own mental wellbeing.

It wasn't until I met these wonderful women you'll meet through the series that I understood what I wanted was in fact possible, I just needed to make it work for me.

All of the women that you'll meet throughout this series had a positive impact on me and my development into the world of self-employment and I wanted to share this hugely valuable insight with other people who:

- Are exploring self employment
- Have self employment planned for somewhere in their future
- Have a fantastic business idea but don't know where to start
- Have a million questions but don't know who to ask or where to go for advice

This is it - this is your ultimate guide from some of the most tenacious female founders I have had the pleasure to meet and work with. They each have a unique experience so I hope their stories resonate with you as they did for me.

Prepare to be inspired…
